20 Fenchurch Street, London

In February 2019, office interiors specialist; Kinetic Workplace Ltd began planning the redesign of a large office area at 20 Fenchurch Street, London. Known in the area as ‘The Walkie-Talkie’ due to its distinctive shape, the 38-storey building is the fifth tallest completed building in the City of London. It provides 690,000 square footage of office space and is occupied by some of the world’s leading-edge businesses.

The Light Apart Hotel, Manchester

Time restraints were the main issue to overcome on this project. Floorfixx Regular was used due to how it quickly and easily creates a new, insulating and even underlay that can bear weight immediately and is perfect for use in commercial and residential situations.

Regent Street, London

In September 2018, Borderline Carpet Planners in London were faced with fitting over 2000sqm of heavy weight hand tufted carpet into a recently refurbished high-end flag ship retail store on Regent Street in London. To make life difficult not only did they have to finish the job before London Fashion Week started, there was also a preservation order in place which ruled that there were to be no adhesives or fixings used on the existing subfloor when fitting the carpet.

E1/E2 Wood Wharf, London

These buildings consist of 2 high rise residential towers, part of Canary Wharf's significant investment in developing Wood Wharf.

In 2019 Avis Contracts got in touch with us to discuss the project as the floor needed raising and as this was a large apartment block, ensuring that the flooring products used would also fit into the building was paramount.

2600m2 of our Floorfixx Regular was supplied over the course of the project.

The Ockendon Academy, Essex
